Georgia Bulldogs offer 5-star recruit Kaden Henderson

The Georgia Bulldogs and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann have offered a scholarship to linebacker recruit Kaden Henderson, who is a member of the class of 2027. Henderson is ranked as a five-star recruit.

The elite linebacker prospect plays high school football for Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. Henderson is the nation’s No. 2 linebacker in the junior class and is the No. 33 recruit in the country. Henderson is the fourth-best recruit in Florida, per 247Sports.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker recently announced his top 12 schools, but Georgia‘s scholarship offer could change that. The Bulldogs are the best school in the country at recruiting elite linebacker talent and should be a contender to land Henderson.

Among Henderson’s top 12 schools are powerhouses like Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and LSU. Almost all of the best programs in college football are recruiting the Jesuit star.

Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country. The Bulldogs have 31 total commitments in the 2026 recruiting cycle. There is still a long way to go for class of 2027 recruits like Kaden Henderson.

Kaden Henderson’s scholarship offer from UGA football

“Blessed to receive a offer from The University of Georgia,” Henderson said via social media after Georgia offered him a scholarship.

Georgia has two commitment in the class of 2027 in receiver Gavin Honore and cornerback Donte Wright. Georgia has the No. 16 recruiting class in the 2027 cycle, but it is way too early to pay much attention to that ranking.
