Cedar City rallied from a 21-7 halftime deficit with a dynamic third quarter, scoring three touchdowns, including a 14-yard pass from Everett Kelling to Dylan Crowley. Kelling had a standout performance, rushing for a pair of one-yard touchdowns and throwing a scoring pass. Juab’s Brock Richards had a strong game with three rushing touchdowns, including a late 2-yard score in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to reclaim the lead. Cedar City’s Braxton DeMille clinched the victory with a decisive 3-yard run with 5:27 left in the game.

Tala Taulapapa powered the Templars with three rushing touchdowns, including a 47-yard dash in the first quarter. The Falcons capitalized on a 17-point fourth quarter, beginning with a Jaxon Beckstrom 28-yard field goal at 11:57. Ryder Miller’s precision was on display with an impactful 48-yard touchdown pass to Caden Greenland at 8:49 in the fourth quarter, extending their lead. Asher Ishihara also contributed with a 6-yard reception for a score from Miller just before halftime. Richfield’s Colton White managed two rushing touchdowns, but the Wildcats couldn’t match Canyon View’s late offensive push.
2A North
Layton Christian (7-2) dominated American Leadership (3-6) in a lopsided 76-12 victory during a 2A North game. Layton Christian exploded in the first half, piling up a 69-12 lead by halftime. American Leadership struggled to contain the relentless offensive assault from Layton Christian, which showed no signs of slowing down. The visitor’s defense effectively shut down American Leadership’s efforts, limiting them to just 12 points throughout the game. Layton Christian’s comprehensive performance marked a decisive win as they continue their march through the season.
Summit Academy (5-4) dominated Providence Hall (2-7) in a 2A North game, securing a 70-8 victory with a relentless offensive display. The Bears surged with a commanding 35-point second quarter, highlighted by Beau Edmunds’ two touchdown receptions from Preston Mackowiak and a touchdown run by Brayden Dieters. Beckham Meredith was instrumental, scoring on a 95-yard kick return and two touchdown receptions. In the third quarter, Summit Academy’s momentum continued with touchdowns by Jack Troester and a pass from Kreyton Anderson to Beckham Meredith. Providence Hall managed to get on the board with their sole touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but Summit Academy sealed the game with Isaac Barrett’s 13-yard run.

North Summit (5-4) edged Millard (4-5) in a 28-27 thriller in their 1A North matchup on Friday. Millard’s Connor Stevens scored a crucial 2-yard touchdown run with 1:07 left in the fourth quarter to bring the Eagles within one point. However, the potential game-tying extra point was missed, sealing the victory for North Summit. Earlier, the Braves built a solid lead in the second quarter with 20 points, highlighted by Cru Richins’ electrifying 80-yard touchdown run. North Summit held on during a scoreless third quarter and a late rally from Millard to secure the victory.
1A South
Enterprise (4-5) secured a decisive 31-7 victory over Parowan (3-6) in a 1A South matchup. The Wolves started strong with Jake Christensen’s 4-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and never looked back. Brannoc Davidson added to the lead with a 3-yard rushing touchdown in the second period, helping Enterprise to a 13-0 halftime advantage. Parowan’s sole highlight came from Tyrel Vest’s impressive 69-yard scoring run in the third quarter, narrowing the gap to 13-7. However, Enterprise dominated the final period with Christensen’s 25-yard dash and a 7-yard touchdown pass from Jack Moyle to Davidson, cementing the win.
Nonregion
South Sevier (9-0) achieved a school record for consecutive wins with 9 by defeating Rich (6-3) with a final score of 30-14 in a nonregion matchup. South Sevier quarterback Bridger Bradshaw connected with Cooper Castle for three touchdown passes in the first half, including strikes of 32, 34, and 20 yards. Despite a second-quarter rally by Rich, which included an 8-yard touchdown pass from Jett Holmes to Aiden Weston and a 1-yard Karter Groll run, South Sevier led 24-14 at halftime. The Rams secured the win with a late 11-yard touchdown run by Hudson Flinders, solidifying their unbeaten record. Strong defensive efforts in the second half kept Rich scoreless, allowing South Sevier to maintain their lead.
Beaver (6-2) secured a narrow 20-16 victory over North Sanpete (5-3) in their first meeting since 1990. Bridger Blackner’s 3-yard touchdown run with 1:07 left in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner. Blackner was a key player for Beaver, also contributing with a 57-yard touchdown pass from Davin Orton in the first quarter.
